“Love & Revolution” is a choreographic exploration conceived by Androniki Marathaki, unfolding into three autonomous parts. The first part, called “The Anomaly of the Least”, deals with the idea of eros in its most nuclear form, stripped of the monumental notions to which it is often attributed, as an act of genuine courage that revolutionizes reality. The choreographic composition consists of eight dancers executing repetitive circular tracts, orbiting around eight separate centers, often crossing each other resulting in a defined reaction.
The design idea for the promotion of the play, emphasises on the moment of interaction, the unexpected formations that take place when the dancers cross paths. This was portrayed in five key visuals that were used throughout the applications. Present in every visual, is the merge of two circles representing the choreographic orbits as they meet, communicating in a more abstract level, the momentary act of love.
